Short Description:

Composite insulators are a special type of insulation control that can play an important role in overhead transmission lines.
Composite insulators are also known as synthetic insulators, non-porcelain insulators, polymer insulators, rubber insulators, etc. The main structure is generally composed of a shed skirt, a FRP core rod and an end fitting. The shed skirt is generally made of organic synthetic materials, such as ethylene propylene rubber, high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, etc.; FRP mandrels are generally made of glass fiber as a reinforcing material, and a oxidizing resin as a base material; The end fittings are generally carbon steel or carbon structural steel coated with hot zinc-aluminum.

Introduction

This product includes insulating Core, insulating housing & weather sheds and terminal assembly parts.

1. The Insulating Core: The insulating core is made of epoxy resin impregnated glass fiber by winding or extruding. Tensile strength is generally up to 1100Mpa or more, 3 times of the ordinary steel and 5 to 8 times of porcelain material.
2. The Housing and Weather Sheds: With the automatic silicone rubber injection molding machine, the housing & weather sheds adopts the one-time integral molding process under high temperature and high pressure, which ensures the binding force between the silicone rubber and core and the sealing property of the end attachment. The most critical problem of the insulator, interface electrical breakdown, is solved.
3. The Ending Fitting: End fitting is made of special steel. With labyrinth design at the terminal, the sealing performance is excellent under multi-layer protection.

2.1 We adopt the advanced injection producing technology for housing and the design of the shed adopt unique aerodynamics principle.
2.2 Good Raw material :
We use HTV silicone rubber which hydrophobicity can reach to HC1 level
We use hot dip Galvanizing steel fitting ,the thickness of the zinc more than 100 μm.
We use ECR rod as the core which is high acid resistant. 7200Hr testing passed .
